Augie came to our family my junior year of high school. As my dad reminded me, when we first saw him at the Humane Society, he had a sign hanging outside his cage that the staff had written on. It said "Sweet Boy."
Augie was a Shiba Inu. He loved long walks, teaching Wilbur and the younger dogs how to be civilized, getting his butt scratched, and us. He was a big part of our family, and he will be missed greatly.
