Pom Pom Pillow

I completed my first sewing project a couple of weekends ago and am happy to say it did not end, as most of my projects do, in a heap of messiness and disappointment, but in utter satisfaction in a job (maybe not well, but) done! I found this pattern in Amy Butler's sewing book: In Stitches. Mine isn't half as lovely as hers, but the mere feat of finishing this crumply homage has made me feel a surge of hopefulness about my future as a Project-Finisher. I have yet to find a safe spot to display my handiwork, as dear Violet thinks the pom-poms are delicious.
