Tobe's Bachelorettehood

This past weekend we celebrated the end of my friend Tobe’s Bachelorettedness. In three weeks, she will become Mrs. Eric Reed. It’s funny how weddings make you reflect on the past…and the end of Tobe’s single life is significant to me, because I shared a lot of my single life with her.

I first heard of Tobe on my first day at Hallmark. My boss Pati told me that Tobe would be starting two weeks later, and so I was left to ponder who this girl was and whether we would be friends. Tobe ended up becoming such a dear friend to me, solidified by a long running Thursday night tradition of going out on the Plaza and talking over drinks.

This amazing cake was made by Mirna and Amy (pictured with Tobe and the cake above). I was so blown away by the beauty of this cake...AND it tasted incredible too!
